Horse shed near Didsbury destroyed by fire

A massive fire has completely destroyed a horse shed just south of Didsbury.

Fire crews were called in from three areas to help deal with a massive blaze early Monday morning.

At about 5:30 a.m., crews from Olds, Didsbury, and Carstairs, were called to a building fire on Highway 2 just south of Didsbury.

The structure, a large horse shed, was completely destroyed.

No people were injured in the fire but ten horses died in the blaze.

The cause is under investigation.
