Calgary youth in life-threatening condition after fight with his brother

Calgary police say two brothers got into a fight inside a southwest Calgary home on Nov. 12, 2025, leaving one of the youths with life-threatening injuries.

A Calgary youth has been seriously injured after a fight with his brother, police said Wednesday.

Police say the fight broke out inside a home on the 4000 block of 37 Street S.W., in the community of Rutland Park, at about 2:10 p.m.

When emergency services arrived, they found the victim in life-threatening condition.

Police have not released the ages of the brothers involved, but both are under 18 years old.

It’s not known if any weapons were involved.

The investigation is ongoing.
