4 arrested in Calgary B&E, stolen property probe; charges pending against 2 more

Four people have been charged in connection with a recent break-and-enter and the trafficking of stolen property, Calgary police say.

According to police, stolen property began popping up on Facebook Marketplace in early April.

Police say the investigation led officers to a residence in the 0-100 block of Martin Crossing Bay N.E., which was entered with a warrant on April 15.

Police say in addition to “various stolen items,” they also found and seized a pistol-grip shotgun, drugs and drug-trafficking paraphernalia.

Brittany Nicole Lalonde, 40, and Andrew Warren Atkins, 39, were each charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking and possession of a controlled substance.

Kimberly Grace Mielke, 28, was arrested on outstanding warrants and also charged with failure to comply with conditions of a release order.

Aaron Flynn, 39, was arrested on outstanding warrants.

Lalonde is scheduled to appear in court on May 22.

Atkins is scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday.

Mielke is scheduled to appear in court on Thursday.

And Flynn is scheduled to appear in court on May 25.

Meanwhile, the investigation continues, and police say charges are pending against two more individuals.
