A pedestrian was struck by a CTrain Monday afternoon in southwest Calgary. It happened around 4:15 p.m. along Bow Trail S.W. at Shaganappi Point LRT station. Police said the pedestrian suffered serious injuries. EMS confirmed one individual was transported to hospital from the 2700 block of Bow Trail S.W. in critical condition. Transit delays were to be expected in both directions, police said.
