A 41-year-old Tottenham man was allegedly driving the wrong way in the middle of the night on Highway 400. Police say on Friday just before 3:30 a.m., officers received several reports of a vehicle going in the wrong direction. According to the OPP, the vehicle was travelling northbound in the southbound lanes of Highway 400 in Innisfil. Police say other drivers had to dodge the vehicle to avoid colliding. The vehicle exited the highway at a service station where police located it and arrested the driver. The man has been charged with drinking and driving, failure or refusal to comply with demand and dangerous operation. He will appear in court at a later date.
