Wasaga Beach launches spring-summer recreation guide

With clocks springing forward on Sunday, the spring and summer seasons are getting closer with each weekend and local recreation staff are gearing up.

This weekend, the Town of Wasaga Beach announced the launch of their 2025 spring-summer recreation guide, which features more than 140 programs for recreation, sport and leisure.

In a media release, the town stated that they are offering more summer camps and programs for locals and visitors of all ages. New programming includes an adult self defence program, basketball camps and a seniors hockey tournament.

The town says they are making hard copies of their guide available at Mosley Street locations that include the RecPlex, Seniors Active Living Centre and the town’s youth centre, as well as at town hall and Wasaga Stars Arena.

Digital copies are available on the town’s website.

According to the town, their recreation offerings last year had nearly 43,000 visits across 380 programs.

Staff stated that they are also excited to feature their new double high school-sized gymnasium with sprung wood flooring at Wasaga Beach Public School.
