One of Ontario’s fastest-growing concert series is returning with an electrifying summer lineup announcement. CTV News Barrie, Pure Country 106, BOUNCE 104.1 and the Downtown Barrie BIA are excited to unveil the Saturday night headliners for the Troubadour Festival Summer Concert Series presented by Paul Sadlon Motors — a four-part celebration of live music featuring star-studded performances at Meridian Place in Downtown Barrie. Owned by the longtime Barrie entrepreneurial Sadlon family, Sadlon Motors has been a cornerstone of the local business community for decades. Following its recognition as one of Ontario’s Top 100 Festivals, the Troubadour Festival is ready to once again take the stage with four unforgettable nights of live Canadian music. Downtown Barrie will transform, with Kempenfelt Bay as the backdrop, showcasing nationally acclaimed artists and emerging local talent. “This lineup reflects exactly what Troubadour Festival stands for — big energy, iconic Canadian talent, and an unforgettable community experience,” said Steve Ricalis, Chair of the Downtown Barrie BIA. “Being named a Top 100 Festival in Ontario adds incredible momentum, and 2026 is set to raise the bar even higher.” Star-studded lineup revealed Sat., June 6 — The Road Hammers Canada’s premier country-rock band will kick off the series with their signature sound. Known for hits like I’m A Road Hammer, Mud, and East Bound and Down, the JUNO and multiple CCMA Award winners are famous for delivering electrifying live performances that get crowds on their feet. Sat., July 25 — The Watchmen One of Canada’s iconic rock bands of the 1990s returns to the stage with a set packed with fan favourites. With platinum and gold records and classics like Stereo and Brand New Day, The Watchmen continue to sell out venues across the country more than three decades after their debut. Sat., Aug. 15 — Bahamas Toronto-born and Barrie-raised singer-songwriter Afie Jurvanen — known to fans as Bahamas — brings his blend of folk, soul, and pop to the Meridian stage. A five-time JUNO Award winner and globally celebrated songwriter, Bahamas has amassed more than a billion streams worldwide with beloved songs including Lost in the Light, Stronger Than That, and All The Time. Sat., Sept. 12 — Coming soon! The final headliner to cap off the four-part series will be announced soon. Emerging artists are invited to apply in three separate categories: Solo (18+/Youth), Duo (18+/Youth) and Band (18+/Youth). If selected, talent will take the Meridian Place stage in front of thousands and perform ahead of the headliners.
