An 89-year-old Stratford woman is dead following a two-vehicle collision in West Perth on Friday morning. Perth County OPP, along with Perth County and Huron County paramedics and the West Perth Fire Department, responded to the collision on Perth Road 180 at the intersection of Perth Line 36 shortly after 9 a.m. Police say the woman, who was driving one of the vehicles, suffered life-threatening injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. No one else was injured as a result of the collision. Perth Road 180 between Line 34 and Line 39, as well as Perth Line 36 between Perth Road 179 and Manley Line, were closed while the West Region Traffic Incident Management Enforcement team assisted with the investigation. The roadways have since reopened.
