Police are trying to identify a man and a woman believed to be involved in a series of break-ins at gym locker rooms. Six reports of locker break-ins have been made to police in recent weeks in gyms in south Edmonton. All the reports involved a man and a woman. Investigators believe the suspects picked the lock and stole debit and credit cards from the lockers. The cards were used shortly afterwards, amounting to thousands of dollars in losses for the victims. Police have released photos of the suspects captured on gym registration cameras. The pair is also believed to have targeted gyms in Calgary, St. Albert, and Sherwood Park within the last two weeks, and are believed to be working together. Anyone with information about them is asked to contact the Edmonton Police Service at 780-423-4567 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
