Two people from Alliston and Georgina are among four people charged with second-degree murder in the death of an Aurora man who was found on a busy east-end street last week. On Wednesday June 10, around 2:45 p.m., York Regional Police were called to Wellington Street East and Walton Drive for “unknown trouble.” When police arrived, they found a man who was suffering from significant trauma. Officers say he was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim was later identified as 55-year-old David Gosse of no fixed address. The Office of the Chief Coroner determined he died from blunt force trauma. As a result, four people have been charged with second-degree murder. York Regional Police say the suspects include a 44-year-old man from Alliston and a 36-year-old woman from Georgina. The others are residents of Aurora. Investigators say the case remains active and are continuing to appeal for witnesses. Anyone with information is asked to contact the York Regional Police Homicide Unit.
