A piece of play equipment at a popular park in Springwater has been severely damaged. The Township of Springwater says a teeter-totter feature at Homer Barrett Park playground was so damaged it had to be removed from its anchor to the ground. To replace the teeter-totter, the Township says it will cost around $18,000. The Township is working with the supplier to figure out if the equipment can be repaired or if a full replacement is needed. Officials are asking anyone who may have information about what caused the damage to contact the Township or the OPP non-emergency line.
