Saying “yes” to Encore turned out to be a very good decision for a Stouffville woman.

Sandra McMillan matched the last six of seven Encore numbers in the exact order during the Oct. 4 Lotto 6/49 draw, earning herself a $100,000 prize, according to a release from the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG).

McMillan’s winning ticket was purchased through OLG.ca.

The Encore option is available for an extra dollar when buying most lottery tickets, and offers 22 different ways to win. There are two Encore draws every day, giving players more chances to cash in even if they don’t win the main jackpot.

Encore prizes can range from a few dollars to a million, depending on how many digits are matched and in what order.
