The Town of Wasaga Beach is hiring for more than 60 summer positions for the upcoming season. “A summer position with the Town of Wasaga Beach offers meaningful work, valuable experience, and the opportunity to make a real difference. Many of the town’s senior leaders, including myself, began their municipal careers as summer students, gaining skills that shaped their future careers.” Says Andrew McNeill, chief administrative officer. These positions will provide hands-on experience in parks, recreation, by-law services, public works, and other municipal departments. The team says summer staff play a vital role during the town’s busiest season. Here are a few positions opening up this summer that could interest you: “Summer employees have the opportunity to work outdoors, support projects that enhance the community—including beachfront maintenance, playground builds, and ongoing beautification initiatives—and be part of a supportive, team-focused environment where ideas are valued and growth is encourage," said the town in a Friday release.
