Roaring ’20s dock party coming to Lake of Bays

Get ready for a time to remember in Muskoka.

District Chair Jeff Lehman is hosting a unique dock party at the Port Cunnington Lodge on Lake of Bays this August. The event will transport guests back to the roaring ’20s with live jazz music, lawn games, food, wine tasting, and a scenic cruise on the historic S.S. Bigwin steamship.

“Feathers, flair, pearls, linen, button-ups, suspenders, fancy hats - It’s vintage-inspired, not costume required,” the event description states.

The party is more than just a fun day out - it’s also a fundraiser for two important local initiatives: the United Way’s Mobile Mental Health Hub for Youth and the YWCA’s Bridges Out of Poverty program.

The Mobile Mental Health Hub is a bus that brings mental health services to small communities across Muskoka, while Bridges Out of Poverty supports those in need.

The event takes place August 9, starting at 3 p.m. Tickets for the event are limited and available online.
