Police search for man who broke into fried chicken restaurant

Police are looking for a man who broke into a fried chicken joint in Barrie.

According to Barrie police, a man smashed the front glass door to Mary Brown’s Famous Chicken and Taters on Wellington Street on April 7.

An alarm triggered once the man broke inside, causing him to flee. Police believe this is the same suspect who broke into a Papa Joes on Dunlop Street later that morning.

The suspect is described as a white man, with a medium build. He was seen wearing orange hoodie, dark pants and white running shoes.

Anyone with information is asked to call police or Crime Stoppers.
