Police allegedly seized $120K worth of street drugs raids in Barrie and Rama First Nations.

Police raids in Barrie and Rama First Nation allegedly netted $120,000 worth of street drugs on Thursday afternoon.

Rama police reportedly seized more than 1.5 kilograms of cocaine and $23,400 in Canadian cash.

A 21-year-old man from Rama First Nation was arrested and faces 13 charges.

“Every arrest and seizure of drugs brings us one step closer to a safer and heathier community,” stated Rama Police Chief Jerel Swamp. “We are committed to removing dangerous substances from our streets to protect our members and foster a secure environment for all.”
