An Orillia man is facing a series of trafficking charges after police seized suspected drugs following an investigation triggered by a call about an unwanted person. During the response at a residence on West Street South, one individual was arrested, and police say a large quantity of suspected controlled substances was found. The individual was taken to the police detachment for processing. OPP says the investigation also involved support from the local Community Street Crime Unit. The accused is now facing multiple charges related to the possession of fentanyl, methamphetamine, and cocaine with the intent to traffic. Police reportedly seized roughly eight grams of suspected fentanyl, more than 110 grams of suspected methamphetamine, and about eight grams of suspected cocaine as part of the investigation.
