Police are urging motorists to drive with caution along Highway 11 Thursday after two separate collisions in Severn Township. Provincial police say they were called to a collision near Telford Line, north of Soules Road, along Highway 11 in the northbound lanes involving a pickup truck and passenger vehicle around 7:30 a.m. Police say a disabled vehicle left unoccupied in the left lane was struck by an oncoming vehicle. Officials say it’s unclear why the vehicle was left in the fast lane. OPP say one person was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries. Cleanup efforts are underway through that area. Police were also in the area earlier that morning for another collision that happened late Wednesday night, forcing lane closures near Soules Road throughout the night. The area reopened around 8 a.m.
