Newmarket man arrested on indecent act charges

Police say an adult male exposed himself at the Newmarket Public Library.

A man exposing himself at a public library was busted Wednesday.

York Regional Police say the man was see holding his cell phone and exposing himself while committing an indecent act at a Newmarket library Sunday.

Police raided the 37-year-old Newmarket man’s home and charged him with committing an indecent act, exposing his genitals to a person under the age of 16 for a sexual purpose, voyeurism and breach of probation.

Investigators released photo of the man as they believe there are additional victims.
