Provincial police are investigating a fatal crash involving a motorcycle in the Town of Mono Saturday morning. According to Dufferin OPP, emergency crews were dispatched to reports of a ‘serious’ collision at around 11:30 a.m. on Hockley Road (Country Road 7). Police say it involved two vehicles, a passenger vehicle and a motorcycle. The motorcyclist, a 51-year-old man from Oakville, was pronounced dead. The other driver reportedly sustained minor injuries. The OPP says Hockley Road is expected to remain closed between Hurontario Street and Second Line EHS for several hours, as the Technical Collision Investigation unit works on the scene.
