Man succumbs to injuries after crash in a Midland parking lot

One man has died after an afternoon crash in the Walmart plaza parking lot in Midland.

The man was struck by a vehicle just before 2 this afternoon. He was taken to hospital in serious condition before succumbing to his injuries.

The driver of the vehicle is in custody and charges are pending, as the investigation continues.

Midland police are appealing to the public for witnesses. The collision involved an orange vehicle and a blue SUV.
