Man seriously injured in hit-and-run in Minden: OPP

Provincial police are investigating a hit-and-run in Minden that seriously injured a man.

OPP say the collision happened on Sunday at around 2:38 a.m. on Bobcaygeon Road near Deep Bay Road.

According to police, the man was found unconscious and seriously injured on the side of the road by two people who were passing by. Investigators believe the man was struck by an unknown vehicle.

The victim was transported to a local hospital and later airlifted to a Toronto hospital, where he remains in critical condition.

Officers with the OPP technical traffic collision investigation unit probed the scene for several hours and retrieved debris believed to be from the suspected vehicle.
