Barrie Colts to face Kitchener Rangers in OHL Championships

The Barrie Colts pulled off a stunning upset over the Brantford Bulldogs Monday, punching their ticket to the OHL Championship series.

The Brantford Bulldogs lost to the Barrie Colts in Game 7 in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) Eastern Conference final.

The finale score was 5-0 for the Colts who will now head to OHL Championship Series to face off against the Kitchener Rangers.

It was looking promising early in the series for the Bulldogs when they led the series 3-1, but the Colts came back to win the final three games back-to-back.

Game 1 of the OHL championship takes place Wednesday at the Kitchener Aud.

The Kitchener Rangers were named Western Conference champions for the first time since 2008.
