For golf enthusiasts, there are few things as sweet as a hole in one. For charity enthusiasts, there are few things as sweet as big donations. Those two things came together in Innisfil on Friday, when the annual Mayor’s Golf Tournament raised $88,000 for the Innisfil Community Foundation. “The Innisfil Community Foundation does so much to help our community thrive, and I’m proud we can support them each year with this tournament,” said Mayor Lynn Dollin in a statement from the town. According to the town, the foundation partners with various organizations to support residents of Innisfil, including non-profits that deal with issues such as poverty, food insecurity, and mental health.
