Barrie Fire and Emergency Service is hosting two free Hot Summer Nights this summer. Designed for families with children, everyone is welcome to join the fun and cool off under the Barrie firetrucks’ spray. Kids and parents, can participate in family-friendly activities, learn lifesaving fire safety tips, and take tours of the fire trucks. Hot Summer Nights run from 6 to 8 p.m. this Thursday at Sunnidale Park and August 27 at Madelaine Park in Barrie’s south end. Hot Summer Nights fun includes: Domino’s Pizza will also be on site selling slices for $3 each, with proceeds going to the Barrie Fire Services charity fund, which gives back to local community and charitable groups.
