Hundreds of classic and custom vehicles lined the streets of downtown Saskatoon for the Rock 102 Show & Shine on Sunday. Organizers estimated more than 30,000 spectators attended the event, which stretched across 14 city blocks. Rock 102 morning show hosts Sheri and Woody broadcast live from the car show. “My dad brought me every year to Show & Shine when I was a kid, so now I’m seeing families pass on that tradition and I really love it,” Sheri told CTV News. More than 40 car clubs participated in the event, which is billed as one of the largest outdoor car shows in Western Canada. “It’s remarkable what people will decide to fix up,” Woody said. He joked that Show & Shine could feature an e-scooter division in a few decades. “There’ll be ground effects, hydraulics, rims — it’ll be a whole thing,” Sheri added, laughing. This is the 44th annual Show & Shine downtown car show.
