The driver of a fire truck in Owen Sound has been charged after a multi-vehicle collision involving a school bus and delivery van on Monday. The crash happened around noon at the 14th Street West and 2nd Avenue West intersection. Police say a student and the fire truck driver were taken to Brightshores Health System with what they described as minor injuries. According to the service, the investigation revealed the fire truck blew through a red light in the intersection, causing the collision. The driver has been charged with failing to stop for a red light. Police ask any witnesses to the collision to contact the authorities.
