Fatal two-car crash in Melancthon, Ont.

Emergency services responded to a fatal two-vehicle collision in the Township of Melancthon shortly after 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Dufferin Ontario Provincial Police, paramedics and firefighters were dispatched to County Road 124 north of the 20 Sideroad for the serious collision.

A 24-year-old Brampton man was transported to a Toronto-area hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

The investigation remains ongoing. Anyone with information or dashcam footage of the incident is asked to contact the Dufferin OPP at 1-888-310-1122, or report anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
