Drugs, weapons, cash seized following search warrant: OPP

Following a search warrant of a residence in Orillia on Tuesday morning, OPP have seized large quantities of various drugs, weapons and cash.

A 43-year-old man, 39-year-old woman and 63-year-old man all from Orillia are facing numerous charges. The 43-year-old man has been charged with the most at six counts including possession of a substance for the purpose of trafficking, possession of a firearm and possession of a weapon.

Police said they found 100 grams of suspected cocaine, several suspected Hydromorphone pills, a quantity of suspected Fentanyl, a crossbow and other replica weapons during the search warrant.

The investigation started in November when a warrant was issued after police said there was suspected drug trafficking happening at a residence near Albert Street South and Barrie Road.
