Crash involving school bus full of students sends both vehicles into ditch

No injuries were reported after a school bus and van crashed on Horseshoe Valley Road.

A collision involving a school bus full of students and another vehicle sent both into a ditch in Oro-Medonte Monday morning.

According to provincial police, the crash happened in the area of Line 6 and Horseshoe Valley Road.

No injuries were reported. Officials say the students on the bus were transferred onto another bus and taken to school.

It’s believed the passenger vehicle may have came in contact with the back of the bus, sending both off the roadway, however, police have yet to confirm the cause.

There is no word on any charges at this time.
