The Edmonton Transit Service (ETS) runs its spring service starting Sunday, meaning certain bus and school routes will see changes to reflect seasonal ridership. Bus bays at Belvedere, Meadows and Mill Woods transit centres will be reassigned and bus routes 513 and 516 at Mill Woods will be redirected. Route 500X at Meadows will also change. Extra on-demand stops will be added to Riverdale and Ottewell. The 132 Avenue Renewal Project continues in 2026, meaning construction from 121 Street to west of 127 Street and from 90 Street to Delwood Road will change routes 51, 103, 106, 618 and 625 until the fall. Construction on the east portion of 132 Avenue will detour routes 106, 610, 612, 613, 614, 624, 625 and 626 until the fall. The Dunluce neighbourhood will also see construction that closes stops along 121 Street and 157 Avenue from the middle of April to fall. During that time, route 124 will detour along 162 Avenue. Below are other adjustments being made to accommodate projects in Glenwood and West Meadowlark Park: Route 108 is detoured to Hermitage Road and Victoria Trail during the Overlanders neighbourhood’s renewal project. A full list of updated transit centre maps and bus stop closures can be found on the City of Edmonton website. ETS alerts can be found here. Holidays ETS will reduce service on holidays that align with public, Catholic and post-secondary schools. Catholic schools are cancelled for a professional development day on May 15. Buses will operate on a regular Sunday schedule on May 18, Victoria Day. Public school special buses will be cancelled from May 27 to 29 for the school break.
