Chatsworth still under state of emergency

The state of emergency in the Township of Chatsworth remains in effect until at least Friday.

Flooding in Williamsford and the McCullough Lake area last weekend forced people from their homes.

As many as 20 properties in Williamsford are damaged and about 40 around the lake.

Chatsworth Mayor Bob Pringle says many homes are still without power and it can't be turned back on until deemed safe by certified electricians.
