Car topples hydro pole in Bracbridge

Residents are being asked to avoid an area in south Bracebridge after a Tuesday morning collision.

Provincial police say a hydro pole is down following a single vehicle collision.

According to OPP, it happened shortly after 8 a.m.

Residents are being asked to avoid Ecclestone Drive between Keith Road and Robert Dollar Drive, as repair work is expected to take until 4 p.m. to complete.

No injuries were reported.

No charges have been laid yet, as police say an investigation into the cause of the collision is on going.
