Barrie police investigate reported hit-and-run involving pedestrian

Police in Barrie are looking to identify the driver of a truck allegedly involved in a hit-and-run.

Police say a woman reported she was crossing the street at Yonge Street and Montgomery Drive around 5:30 p.m. when she was struck.

Authorities say the involved vehicle is described as a white four-door truck that was last seen heading north on Yonge Street.

There was no word on any injuries.
