This is what dreams are made of: Hilary Duff coming to Halifax next year

Hey now! Hilary Duff has announced she’s coming to Halifax next year.

The American pop singer and actress, best known for playing Lizzy McGuire on the hit Disney show, is coming to the Scotiabank Centre on Feb. 7, 2027.

She will be joined by Canadian singer Lauren Spencer Smith.

Duff has sold more than 15 million records worldwide.

Her debut 2003 album “Metamorphosis” went number one on the Billboard 200 with hits like “Come Clean” and “So Yesterday.”

Tickets go on sale Feb. 20, the same day “Luck… or Something” – her first new album in more than 10 years – comes out.

“Mark your calendars, set your alarms, and get ready to sing every word,” reads a post from the Scotiabank Centre.

The Halifax show is the only Maritime date on her world tour.
