Man facing multiple charges after stabbing in Enfield: N.S. RCMP

A 40-year-old man is facing assault charges following an “altercation” in Enfield, N.S., Saturday night.

The RCMP Halifax Regional Detachment responded to a report that a man had been stabbed at a home on Jonah Drive after an argument.

When officers arrived, they located a man outside the residence and arrested him.

“A second man was found on the front deck with a stab wound to his shoulder, and a third man was located inside the residence with an injury to his forehead. Both injured men were transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries,” reads a news release from Nova Scotia RCMP.

A woman was also found at the residence, but police say she was not injured.

According to the RCMP, officers seized a knife, a baseball bat and a hammer.

Jason Alexander Dillman has been charged with:

• three counts of assault with a weapon
• possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose
• forcible confinement

Dillman appeared in Dartmouth provincial court on Monday. He remains in custody and is scheduled to appear in court again on Wednesday.
