Inmate dies at Springhill, N.S., institution

Correctional Service Canada says an inmate has died at a Nova Scotia prison.

Correctional Service Canada (CSC) says an inmate has died at a Nova Scotia prison.

Blair Chisholm died at the Springhill Institution on Sunday of “apparent natural causes.”

CSC says Chisholm was 62 years old and had been serving a sentence of two years, which began on June 25.

The man’s next of kin, police and the coroner have all been notified.

CSC says it will review the circumstances surrounding Chisholm’s death.
