Missing senior not seen in more than three weeks found dead: Halifax police

Halifax Regional Police says an elderly man who had been missing for more than three weeks has been found dead.

Police said Monday they were looking for the 84-year-old man, who was last seen in Halifax on May 24.

They issued an update Tuesday, stating the man has been found dead.

“His death is not believed to be suspicious,” said Halifax Regional Police. “Our thoughts are with the man’s family, friends and loved ones.”
