Nova Scotia RCMP are continuing to investigate the 2024 homicide of Tyrell Ramone Beals. Police say they received a report that someone had been shot near the 1100 block of Downey Road in North Preston at around 11:48 p.m. on May 8, 2024. When officers arrived, they located the 36-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite life-saving efforts, police say Beals was later pronounced dead at the hospital. Police are asking anyone with information to come forward. “Two years later, this investigation remains active, and we’re urging anyone who may have information—no matter how small it may seem—to contact police,” says Sgt.
