A youth was hospitalized following a crash between their modified gas-powered bicycle and a Honda CR-V in Eastern Passage, N.S., on Wednesday evening. Emergency crews responded to the reported crash at the intersection of Oceanlea Drive and Shore Road around 7:50 p.m., according to an RCMP news release. “Officers learned that the Honda CR-V was travelling westbound on Shore Rd. and the cyclist was travelling southbound on Oceanlea Dr. when the collision occurred in the intersection,” the release reads. The cyclist went to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The 47-year-old driver of the CR-V and his four passengers were not injured.
