The Saint John Police Force is investigating the theft of copper wire that caused an internet outage on the city’s east side Saturday afternoon. Police responded to the reported theft in the 1200 block of Red Head Road around 12:18 p.m. They believe the wire was stolen from several utility poles around 3:30 a.m. on Saturday. Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call police at 506-648-3333, or anonymously contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
