RCMP search for vehicle involved in hit-and-run in Dunlop, N.B.

The Chaleur Region RCMP is searching for a vehicle its says was involved in a hit-and-run in Dunlop, N.B.

Police say a sedan was travelling in the wrong direction on Morrisson Road when it hit another vehicle head-on around 9 p.m. Saturday. The sedan then fled the scene before police arrived.

No one was injured in the incident.

In a news release on Wednesday, police describe the sedan as dark-coloured. They believe the vehicle would have light damage to the front end.

Police are asking anyone with dashcam footage from the area at the time of the collision to contact them at 506-548-7771 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-333-8477.
