‘Armed and dangerous’ P.E.I. man wanted in connection with Moncton robbery

Police in New Brunswick are looking for a wanted man they say is considered “armed and dangerous.”

An arrest warrant was issued for 29-year-old Cody MacLeod of Kensington, P.E.I., on Friday. The RCMP says MacLeod is wanted in connection with an armed robbery in Moncton on Aug. 27.

MacLeod is described as roughly five-foot-nine and 161 pounds. He has brown hair and green eyes.

“Cody MacLeod is believed to be armed and dangerous. If you see him, do not approach and call 911 immediately,” said the RCMP in a news release Tuesday.

Codiac Regional RCMP is asking anyone with information on MacLeod’s whereabouts to contact them at 506-857-2400. Anonymous tips can be submitted to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
