Man serving 2-year sentence for robbery wanted on warrant: Saint John police

A man who is serving a two-year, one-month federal sentence for robbery and assault is wanted on a Canada-wide warrant, according to the Saint John Police Force.

Police say a warrant was issued for Bernard Kellar, 36, on May 17 for allegedly breaching the conditions of his statutory release.

His whereabouts are unknown.

Police say Kellar is serving a sentence for:

• robbery with violence
• assault with a weapon
• five counts of theft under $5,000
• two counts of obstructing a peace officer
• identity fraud with intent
• motor vehicle theft
• break, enter and commit theft under $5,000
• procuring/possessing/selling identity document
• failure to attend court
• theft under $5,000
• offences under the Motor Vehicle Act of New Brunswick

Kellar is described as standing five-foot-eight and weighing 190 pounds. He has a recently shaved head with a brown beard and brown eyes. He does not have any tattoos.
