A 40-year-old man has died following an ATV crash in Midgic, N.B. Members of Sackville RCMP responded to the single vehicle crash at the intersection of Brooklyn Road and Goose Lake Road on May 15 around 6:40 a.m. According to police, it is believed the driver of the ATV was travelling south, and failed to negotiate a turn at the intersection, and then struck a tree. The 40-year-old man from Pointe de Bute, N.B., died at the scene as a result of his injuries. No one else was on the ATV at the time. Members of the Sackville Fire Department, Ambulance New Brunswick, and a coroner also attended the scene. Police said a collision reconstructionist is assisting with the ongoing investigation, and an autopsy will be conducted to determine the man’s exact cause of death.
