Missing Winnipeg hospital patient found dead: police

A man who was reported missing from a Winnipeg hospital has been found dead, according to Winnipeg police.

CTV News previously reported the man was missing as of July 2, 2025, before he was formally discharged. Three days later, the Winnipeg Police Service confirmed in an email that he had been found deceased.

Police said an autopsy is pending and the investigation is ongoing.

CTV News has removed the man’s name and photo.
