Winnipeg police are investigating three separate stabbings that sent three people to hospital. The first two incidents happened Friday. Around 4 p.m. officers were called to the Inkster Garden area for reports of someone being stabbed. When they arrived, they found an injured 18-year-old man. He was taken to hospital in unstable condition and later upgraded to stable. Then at around 8:30 p.m., police responded to reports that a taxi driver had been stabbed in the 1600 block of Regent Avenue over a fare dispute. Police said the driver, a man in his 50s, drove himself to the hospital. Lastly, just before 2 a.m. Saturday, officers along with the K9 unit were called to the 300 block of McAdam Avenue for reports of a man being stabbed during a robbery. A man in his 30s was taken to hospital in unstable condition, later being upgraded to stable. The major crimes unit is investigating all three incidents. No arrests have been made at this time.
