The most popular books of 2025 at the Winnipeg Public Library

What do Ina Garten, Cher and Wab Kinew all have in common?

They were the authors of three of the most popular books at the Winnipeg Public Library this year.

On Tuesday, the library released its most circulated titles of 2025, which include memoirs by Garten, Cher and Kinew in the biography category.

“The Grey Wolf” by Louise Penny not only topped the Winnipeg Public Library’s fiction category but was also the most sought-after title of the year with 922 circulations overall. “The Grey Wolf” was followed by Kristin Hannah’s “The Women” at 804 circulations and Michael Connelly’s “The Waiting” with 683.

The nonfiction category was topped by Mel Robbins’s best-selling self-help book “The Let Them Theory,” while The Hunger Games and its prequel novels dominated the young adult section.
