Cross Lake RCMP responded to a reported shooting that killed a teenager. RCMP were dispatched to a report of a shooting at a residence in Pimicikamak Cree Nation, on Saturday afternoon. Police were told that a 13-year-old male was shot and transported to the nursing station, where the male was pronounced dead. His death is being treated as a homicide, and a 17-year-old male was arrested on scene. A firearm was seized. Police are not looking for more suspects, and the investigation is on the way.
