A Canada-wide warrant has been issued for the arrest of a convicted sex offender, who failed to return to his halfway house in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside. Police are asking the public to keep an eye out for 59-year-old Kenneth Nolan Kirton. They say Kirton, who has been designated a dangerous offender, signed out from his halfway house on Wednesday. He had been living in the home after being released from custody under a 10-year long-term supervision order. Police say Kirton is 5’4” and about 135 pounds, with short black hair and brown eyes. They say he may be wearing a tan button-up shirt with light blue shorts and white runners. He also reportedly has multiple tattoos, including a skull on his right forearm, as well as a scar on his left cheek. Police are asking anyone who sees Kirton to call 911 immediately.
