Just a few hours after a Canada-wide warrant was issued for the arrest of a convicted sex offender, Vancouver police say he is back in custody. Early Thursday afternoon, police asked the public to keep an eye out for 59-year-old Kenneth Nolan Kirton. They say Kirton, who has been designated a dangerous offender, signed out from his halfway house in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside on Wednesday, and did not return. He had been living in the home after being released from custody under a 10-year long-term supervision order. Police say he remains in custody.
